Berkeley | Great location for a budget price. Right in the middle of the Old Town but close to all three beaches and ideal if you want to walk around because everything you want is close to hand. Beach a couple of minutes, English Bars 5 mins and the famous view and steps just minutes away too.
The accomodation was good value and adequate for a couple. Air Con / Heating all worked, nice balcony, plenty of hot water and reasonably comfortable beds. Linen and towels fresh and clean, even had loo paper. This is not a quiet spot so you will not get an early night without the noise. |

The apartment was very cold and the windows on the balcony did not close properly therefore there was a constant draught coming in. Also there was an ironing board but no iron and although we were told to return the keys by 10.30 the cleaner knocked at 9am wanting to be in so we never had time for anything to eat or drink before leaving...Thank goodness for MacDonalds which is just below these apartments. |

| Entry is along the side of the building and then around the back,entrance into the small non manned reception is by key and though the door is sprung it does not close fully on its own and needs that extra little push, potentially a safety hazzard should someone not realise and not do this. The side and back are lit, but one has to be watchfull when returning at night due to their remoteness. When we stayed in November 07 a man was attacked at the rear but he fought his attackers off. This made us aware, but if you do not know well! The apartment we stayed in this time march 08 booked for us by yourselfs was fine the oven did not work and two light bulbs had blown but hey it does not matter they could have easily been fixed had we asked, the apartment considering it was self catering lacked an electric kettle and a microwave and certain fixtures where hanging off the walls but these are minor things and one can knit pick forever. Love the apartments and do not wish to stay anywhere else. The apartments themselves are clean but in need of sprucing up here and there. The lock to the apartment is good. Patio door lock inside was non existent but did not matter as one cannot gain entrance to the apartment except by the door All in all you get what you pay for and the Mayra reflects this in the nicest possible way.The staff are most curtious though they do not speak english but this can be overcome with a little effort (Please see my note on your page) |

ste c | Just got back from this dump (sat 24/09/2011) I would highly recommend you DONT stay at this hotel. the place is full of ants and weirdos. up the top of cardiac hill(just behind gemelos 28) the lift to reception doesnt work and the slope is so steep the taxi wont take you to reception so have to climb approx 100 steps that are all broken and is pitch black at night cos the lights dont work there is no security, the reception area is open 24hrs and we had tramps sleeping in the corridors and stair wells. sink was blocked and no plug for the bath grrrr. chairs was being thrown from the balconys as well as sick, pizzas + kebabs that greated you the next morning all over the place. this place really is the pits. please spend an extra few euros and get a decent place. the bed clothes are curtains, no kettle or tv(prob been chucked from balcony) was woken each morning about 5am by people arguing + fighting. this place is by far the worst hotel in benidorm!!!!! |

maureen & wils | We would like to thank terry and anne at HotelsAbroad for their time and effort answering my emails and queries, excellent customer service. the apartment itself could do with a little refurbishment, ie paint and new sofa bed and the curtains in the balcony area are really dated and torn in places. we had a few concerns and reported them as they happened to the office below the loixmar apartment, and in no way interfered with our holiday. the apartment was very safe(9f)with 2 locked doors before we even got to the flat and then there was a gate then the front door. i as a female felt really safe if hubby was out later than me. we would go back to these apartments, but maybe not 9f unless it was modernised a little. i made great use of the washing machine iron and ironing board, clothes horse, and the massive wardrobe in the balcony area. all in all we had a great time. pool was only opened for 4 days out of our 11days. but they were retiling the whole pool. office downstairs gave me a key to use the aquarium apartments pool just across the road. i forgot to get the young girls name, but she was fantastic and sorted out all our problems we had. 4 in 4 days!!! toaster fused all the electrics, she got us a new 1 but that didnt work. lamp in room didnt work, curtain completely came off the wall in balcony, and bathroom bulb need replacing. but weather was fantastic and we were really close to all amenities, just what we wanted.... thanks everyone.xx |

We bought a fan and did without the air con which would have been 10euros per day and it was fine except when getting ready to go out..ladies and hairdriers..!!..so would DEFINATELY hire air con in high season if we were to return high season!!
Our apartment faced "The Square" and it didnt bother us, in fact it was great because the sun was on the balcany until 8.30pm..but if you are non drinking early bedders, ask for a beach facing apartment!!

The room size, facilities, cleanliness was very good and its location is excellent. A very short taxi ride from train station to the hotel and an even shorter walk to the river promenade walks. easy access to
town centre centre streets. The proximity of the hotel to the fast train lines was not a problem as the double/triple glazing easily kept out the noise.
The proprietor and her staff were very helpful and efficient.
The 2 downsides were
the breakfast was limited though sufficient-just cereals and cold meats.
It was obvious that the hotel proprietor and her staff were heavy smokers.All the common parts, reception and dining room smelt of tobacco smoke and filled
ashtrays were in several locations. The bedrooms did not smell of smoke. It was certainly the major adverse point about the hotel.

Carrie | On arrival (2nd year) we found the washing machine bearing still not fixed from last year (sounded like jet landing) and filthy dispenser tray, water leaking from under boiler, grout round shower disgusting, seat broken on dining chair, lights not working, 2 tiles still unstuck in hall, kettle too scaled up to use, dirty light switches and wall in sitting room + few other minor things including still no microwave or toaster. Not enough glass tumblers. Most things dealt with within 3 days (except grout and chair) including new washing machine. Shower and water heater not sorted.
Still found the accommodation reasonable for a budget stay but probably WONT stay next year even though grounds and location superb.
The manager did get a lot of jobs done quite quickly. Local agent said that most renters were young and did not take any care of the property. BUT THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM! The cleaners should check everything and do the job they are paid for. Regards,

| My only problem with this hotel is that we arrived in Spain at midnight and arrived at the accomdation around 1 am only to find that we had to wait untill the office on the prom away from the hotel didnt open untill 9 ish and not knowing Benidorm took awhile to find it even though we were given a map to say we were shattered by the time we got into the accommodation is an understatement that being said i cant wait to return ,its very clean a nice QUIET pool area and friendly staff. The kitchen didn´t have any electric kettle for boiling water, and it took us 25 minutes to have warm water for cooking eggs and then you should cook the eggs... on the way down to Burgundy and on the way back. We were so pleased with it that we booked it again for two nights this year and were not disappointed. Nothing had changed. That said it is in a good position relative to the motorway, tranquil and less than an hour from Boulougne. |

This is a quaint little hotel that has clean sheets, hot water and pleasant staff. If you want Biaritz culture then go somewhere else, if you want a bed to break up a long journey then it is 5 star.

The main entrance to the building is located on the side of the building and is easily accessable, it is the main door next to the mini market - note that you can not enter the building from the beach front. The room was very spacious and we were given a 3 bed despite paying for a 2 bed so we was very please. The balcony was spacios and had amazing viws over the promenade, no noise disturbance at night. If there is no one avialable on reception when you arrive, you can collect the key at the El Trebol apartments. Just a short walk away. If you do not like lifts or high floor accomodation request a lower floor as this apartment block has 35 levels.Great position and easy safe walking to the old town and shops.The restaurant on the ground level does great food and a full breakfast with toast ,marmalade, coffee and fruit juice for Eu4.20 .I was also able to park my car in the private car park at the rear for free.These apartments are not particularly cheap but they are in an enviable position and worth the extra. |

My friends and I stayed in a 3 bedroomed apartment this June and we throughly enjoyed our 7 night stay.our only complaint as such was that it was very warm at night and we did not have air conditioning.(not a setback would have prefered to have air conditioning)we also had a sea view .we had no problems finding the apartment as we hired a private car and a gentleman by the name of manfred picked us up at the airport with the keys and delivered us right to the front door of the building.marvellous.The apartment block is located at a 5 minute walk from the beach and you have a lovely little english resterant at the end of the hill if you prefer a full irish or english breakfast if not you have a very well stocked supermarket right across the road from the apartment (couldnt ask for more)No safety deposit boxes in any of the rooms in our aprartment but in saying that the front of the building is secure as in you need a key to enter the ground floor(would have prefered a safety box in at least one room)overall it was an enjoyable stay .i have been to Benidorm 3 times so far this year 2008 and my friends and i always enjoy ourselves.i would recommend the San Miguel 11 and i would book it again.

| It is good that hotels abroad say that you should resist any attempt by the hotel to charge you again - as this hotel tried very hard to make us pay again. When we arrived we reported that one of our rooms was not ready and the beds not chnaged. We were told that it would be done within the hour. When we returned from a night out in Annecy, the room had still not been prepared. There was no-one to help at 11.30pm anbd even some hepful French people who tried to help us could not understand the recorded message on the helpline. We had to book another room - fortunately this could be done using a machine there - and then go through a lengthy process of sorting out a cash refund in the morning. Luckily the person on the desk in the morning spoke English.
I would not recommend this hotel. It was close to a very busy dual carriageway and thus very noisy. |

A generally very comfortable hotel and would stay here again but very disappointed by the reception desk check in and with one or two exceptions the helpfulness of the staff.
On arrival we were treated as an inconvenient interruption to a telephone call and also what appeared to be a sharing of computer information. Our rooms were at the very top of the hotel and we quite literally were taken up at almost running pace and only I managed to keep up and follow the various corridors and staircases to our rooms. The receptioist was even in too much hurry to either turn on or show me where the light switches were for some quite dark and in particular one dangerous staircase, without good lighting.
The same feeling of being an interuption to what the receptionist wanteted to be doing was felt whilst checking out the following morning. The room was charged for with our restaurant bill and it took some explaining before this was subsequently credited from our bill. (We specally showed your booking confirmation on our arrival! |

Bedrooms were a little on the small side, more Camponile size, but for an overnight stop excellent value and would staythere again if in that area. |

| We have used this hotel for a number of years as it is so close to the ferry (5 mins). It is based in a busy area which is great for restaurants. It is in the process of being refurbished. The rooms are smallish but it is has family rooms and is ideal for an overnight stay. Excellent value for money |

| About 30 minutes from the port and so is idael for an overnight stop when travelling deep into Europe. It enabled me to obtain a very cheap Norfolk Line ferry boking arriving in plenty of time to freshen up before going in to dinner (we had been driving 300 miles in England to reach Dover). It also enabled us to have Breakfast in comfort before catching the return Ferry. Receptionist could speak English and we were expected. Food was reasonably priced (the choice was not too limited) and served by pleasant staff. Will book hotel again next time we drive abroad using Norfolk Line. |

| As soon as we saw it ,we loved the place. Very quiet & peaceful.Ondine, the proprietess was very welcoming. Did not speak any English, nor did the other guests,a French couple.I speak a little French, & we all had a lovely evening. | We were not impressed with the condition of the apartment in respect of the furnishings, somewhat shoddy. The kitchen layout was not user friendly.The noise level from people living above (spanish)was at times very annoying. This apartment,tower 2, did not compare with the apartment we stayed in when we were here last october (2007) in tower 1 GEM.2 Overall we were disappointed. |

| Poor decor,windows to outside did not close properly and wind was whistling into property causing great draught and noise.had to buy tape and use paper and tape to try and seal windows.evidence of previous attempts to do same by other occupants.the two single lounge chairs looked ok until you sat on them whereon the back rest cushion just gave way due to the rear of chairs only having approx 12inches of back in them where the back cushions were of normal height of approx 3foot. |

| No complaints about apartments they were good value for the money. The only complaint we have is the Pub resturant below was full of lager louts in most afternoons so was very noisey. Vert quiet in the evenings we had a great holiday. |

The only problem we had was there were no instructions on how to use the cooker or were to take the rubbish. The conceirges were rather misrable when saying helo in most cases he did not answer and if asked a question did not give a direct reply.
