Modern well-run hotel facing the canal. Although it's 25-30 mins. walk to the Grand Place it is a pleasant walk through the narrow streets of the city, not along a busy road.
The hotel has a snack bar and ample free private parking. As it is on the main road some rooms are a little noisy, but we always request quiet rooms.
All rooms have en-suite facilities and TV. Cots are available at 7.50 euros per night.
Prices include breakfast.

Property: This was our 4th stay at Gasthof De Krakele. We keep going back as its great value for money and very close to the ferry port for our journey back to Scotland. Rooms are a good size and the hotel staff are very helpfull. All speak good English.
Hotels Abroad: Very easy to book. I also needed to change the booking twice, this was done without problem over the phone. Very happy.

Property: Property was adequate for our needs. With hindsight, the contact at reception could have told us more about where to go in Bruges, ie where the tourist information was, what to do etc but I accept this was not their job.
