These apartments are situated about 250m. up the hill in Calle Roma. At the bottom of the hill are the shops, bars and restaurants of Avenida Ametlla de Mar. The central entertainment area and The Square are about 20 mins. walk away, whilst the beach
Is about 15 mins. walk.
There is a nice swimming pool (which is open all year) with separately run bar. It is not suitable for wheelchair users.
The apartments have one twin bedroom, open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, bathroom and large open balcony. With the sofa bed in the lounge they sleep up to 4 people. The kitchenettes have a 4 ring hob, oven, toaster and kettle. There is a separate laundry area with washing machine. A safe is available at 10 euros per week (long stays half price), but it should be requested at time of booking as not all apartments have them. The TV, which has three English channels, is free.
Price includes the use of water, gas, electricity and cleaning on departure. Two sets of bed linen and towels are supplied but not changed. Change of bed linen and towels 20 euros. Refundable cash deposit of 100 euros per apartment payable on arrival.

Property: It was a basic apartment as we had expected. Could have been a bit cleaner. The oven had not been emptied of crumbs and the shelves needed a wipe-over but nothing serious. The pans were not all usable and could have done with a small milk pan and a non-stick frying pan but the office could not help us. But we managed ok. All in all very good value for money.
Hotels Abroad: pre advice and help exc. Only suggestion, the Hoppa transfer dropped us at the bottom of the hill to get the keys and we had to struggle with the cases up the hill. On the return booked us to be picked up at the top of the hill but as we had to vacate the apartment at 10 am and the flight was at 10pm we would have had to take the cases down the hill to store them and take them back up the hill again. So I had to phone to change the pick up place. If we had had a map before travel showing where the keys had to collected in relation to the apartment it would have been easier to know where to be picked up and dropped off.
